Wild Safaris in Kenya and Tanzania

Day 1  Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, settle in and relax or step out for a taste of Nairobi’s vibrant atmosphere. Overnight in Nairobi.

This morning, take a short flight to Amboseli National Park, world-famous for its vast herds of elephants and stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. After check-in and lunch, set out on an afternoon game drive, where elephants, lions, and giraffes roam beneath Africa’s highest peak. Dinner and overnight in a luxury lodge or tented camp.

Spend two full days exploring Amboseli, where wildlife encounters are plentiful. Watch as elephants cross the plains in family herds, observe hippos in marshy swamps, and enjoy the breathtaking sight of Kilimanjaro at sunrise. Game drives at different times of day allow you to see predators in action, while evenings at the lodge promise relaxation under starry African skies.

After breakfast, transfer to a flight connection that takes you across the border into Tanzania’s legendary Serengeti National Park. On arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive across endless grasslands teeming with wildlife. Overnight in a Serengeti safari lodge or luxury tented camp.
The next two days are devoted to the Serengeti, where every game drive brings new wonders. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, as millions of wildebeest and zebras traverse the plains in search of fresh grazing. Cheetahs, leopards, and lions patrol the savanna, while giraffes and gazelles dot the horizon. Overnight stays in the heart of the park let you feel immersed in the wild.
Enjoy a final Serengeti game drive before heading toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your lodge perched on the crater’s rim, offering spectacular views into this natural amphitheater filled with wildlife. Dinner and overnight with breathtaking vistas of Ngorongoro.
Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” The crater floor is home to lions, elephants, black rhinos, flamingos, and more in one of the richest wildlife areas in Africa. Overnight Ngorongoro.
Today, board a flight back to Kenya, heading directly into the iconic Maasai Mara National Reserve. On arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive, a perfect introduction to one of Africa’s greatest safari destinations. Overnight in a lodge or luxury camp set on the edge of the savanna.
Spend two full days discovering the wonders of the Maasai Mara. Early morning and late afternoon game drives reveal lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and an array of plains game. If traveling during migration season, witness the dramatic river crossings of wildebeest and zebras. Optional hot air balloon rides at sunrise provide unforgettable views over the rolling plains. Evenings bring cultural encounters with the Maasai people and cozy fireside dinners under star-studded skies.
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive before flying back to Nairobi.
