Serene Seychelles

Day 1   Arrival in Mahé & Beachside Welcome

Arrive in Mahé, the largest island. Transfer to your resort. Spend the afternoon unwinding on Beau Vallon Beach, one of the most family-friendly stretches with calm waters and plenty of dining options. Enjoy a relaxed Creole-style dinner by the ocean.

After a leisurely breakfast, begin with a guided tour of Victoria, the world’s smallest capital. Visit the Sir Selwyn Selwyn-Clarke Market for tropical fruits, spices, and local crafts. Later, explore the Botanical Gardens and stop at Mission Lodge for breathtaking mountain views. Conclude with sunset at Anse Intendance.

Enjoy a gentle family hike in Morne Seychellois National Park through lush rainforest and spice groves. Afterward, head to Port Launay Marine National Park, best known for snorkeling. You can also do a picnic on the beach.

Take a scenic ferry to Praslin. After check-in, spend the afternoon at Anse Lazio, considered one of the world’s best beaches. Kids will love the calm, clear waters while parents relax under the palms.

Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Vallée de Mai, home to the rare coco de mer palms and vibrant birdlife like the black parrot. In the afternoon, enjoy resort leisure—kayaking, paddleboarding, or simply soaking in the tropical beauty.

Catch the ferry to La Digue, where bicycles and ox-carts are the way to travel. Explore Anse Source d’Argent, famed for its granite boulders and shallow lagoons. Visit L’Union Estate to see a traditional copra mill, vanilla plantation, and giant tortoises. Return to Praslin in the evening.

Spend your last morning at leisure—perhaps snorkeling off your resort beach or shopping for Creole handicrafts. Transfer back to Mahé for your flight home, carrying with you memories of turquoise waters, lush forests, and island magic.

Festivals

La Tomatina (Buñol – Last Wednesday of August)

Get ready for the world’s biggest food fight! Thousands gather in the town of Buñol near Valencia to hurl overripe tomatoes at each other in a joyful, messy celebration that’s pure chaos and pure fun

Feria de Abril (Seville – Two weeks after Easter)

This vibrant Andalusian fair transforms Seville into a whirlwind of flamenco dresses, horse parades, traditional music, and dancing in striped tents. It’s a colorful immersion into Spanish party culture and tradition.

Carnival (Nationwide – February/March, before Lent)

Spain’s Carnival is a riot of color, costumes, and parades. The most famous is in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, with Brazilian-style samba shows and drag queen galas that rival Rio in extravagance.
